So far for the Bell owners who have purchased Priv's in the past, how has the software and security patch support been?

I have a few friends who really NEED WhatsApp and are on BlackBerry 10 devices. They are going to move to the Android platform and originally I was thinking that the DTEK50 would be a good upgrade. Now that the Priv is on for $0 I suspect that's the smarter play based upon specs, quality of hardware etc.

Just wondering what the thoughts were on Bell's carrier support for the Priv. Thanks!

I moved from a Z30 to the Priv back in late May. Although I miss the fluidity of BlackBerry 10 and my Z30. The Priv has really matured and you just can't beat the app selection on Android. If your friends don't have to jump through fiery hoops to get them for $0. I'd highly recommend one.
