Hi guys. This my 1st post...I see that on my Priv is not possible delete anything from the microSd cause no native file manager can works on Lollipop. It seems funny that a BlackBerry cannot do a so simple operation! I hope that the upgrade to Marshmellow makes it possible. Does anyone solve this "bug" by 3rdy parts sw? Sorry for my poor english

You can download a file manager from the Google Play Store. Solid Explorer is popular.

My vote for Solid Explorer too. No need to reinvent the wheel as it is far superior to the BB10 file manager.

That's a function of the service you are trying to connect to.

Although SFTP is supported, in addition to regular FTP.

I know ES File Explorer has the option to password-protect itself.

Tested Solid Explorer but it cannot delete anything saved on external microsd cause it needs root autorizations that Lollipop 5.1 on Priv denies. I used Total Commander too, but the song remains the same... Native File Manager is the only solution and why there is not a native file manager on our Privs? Strange thing...

No. It handles the SD card perfectly. No root required.

Agree. I manage (move, copy, delete) files from my sd card all the time using solid explorer.

I know that really early OS builds (launch day) had issues with the SD card, but OP should be on something much newer.

Unless he isn't, in which case, try to get that fixed.

Probably the issue borns from the fact that I inserted a wrotten microsd (my picts, docs and videos saved from the my old Torch by Win10) with no format by Priv. Tmw I'll buy a new clean microsd and I'll insert it in Priv, crossing my fingers. Tnk all for kind suggestions.

I am using FX Explorer since ES Explorer got bloated

You will have to pay for the add-ons after a week. It's pretty clean IMO

All you have to do is accept the SD card when the app tells you too.

Speaking of this I have a question for you guys. When I record a video I can't view it in the camera viewing section. I have to actually go into solid explorer to view the video. Anyway to change this?
