Now that the cat is out of the bag, I just wanted to express how glad i am that BlackBerry has done a great job with integrating the priv with Marshmallow. Especially because android L just didnt seem to play with the priv nearly as well. Its almost like the Priv was MADE to run MM instead of L.

Here's the most important changes ive noticed from using MM for a while now:

- Granular Permissions is a must for privacy seekers and works very well.
- Battery life has extended dramatically from about 3 hours of SoT to 5 to almost 6 hours of SoT. (im a very heavy user)
- Over all speed and response has noticeably improved
- Device overheating now a thing of the past, I had waze, full screen brightness, an active phone call for over 8 minutes and the device was barely warm to the touch. Great efforts have been made here.
- DTEK now is at its full potential and doing what its designed to do
- Picture password is now as smooth and functional as experienced in BB10. Password backup.

There are lots of other small but great changes like more video options, adoptive storage, reworked phone app which are much appreciated.

EDIT: Headphone jack now is much louder too (thanks stickyiky)

I believe that Blackberry has a decent chance being more than relevant again if every android they release from now on is as good as my priv now with MM.

Headphone volume is finally louder too. That was one of my biggest annoyances with Lollipop. Battery life has improved a lot. Great update.

I am also glad to hear this and hopefully for those of us with carrier locked Privs Marshmallow will get pushed to us 3 May.
