I just purchased a priv and I want to upgrade the current lolipop os to marshmallow.
Can anyone provide some guidance please.

Have you checked for updates through the system? At this point, every Priv should have the MM update available but if for whatever reason yours isn't showing, download the appropriate autoloader - http://ca.blackberry.com/support/sma...OS-Reload.html instructions on how to use it are on that page as well.

Bring up Main Settings (swipe down with two fingers once, or one finger twice and hit the Gear in the Upper Right). Scroll down to About (near the bottom) and tap it. Then the first item should be check for update. Hit that and then check for update.
