So we're almost down to one week until launch, and we have no full reviews. How is this possible? This to me is madness. How do they expect people to buy a phone at launch if we haven't seen it in action?

I know that reviews can't be posted until the non-disclosure agreement date expires. But how can there still be an embargo on this phone? Does anyone know the NDA end date? Or is that also part of the NDA that they can't say?

BlackBerry should at least have some staff who are very familiar with the device showing off some of the cool features to media outlets. What is going on?

I'm in the same boat as you are, I'm waiting for a review for I make the plunge.

I saw an October 29th date floating somewhere here.

I also saw B1aze saying wait a few days regarding more information for the Priv earlier this week.

I don't want to get your hopes up but me thinks it should be any time now.

Reviews go out when Blackberry says so as part of their NDA with those who they send the phones to review. Same thing happened with the passport, an hour after launch, there were 10 reviews popping up all over the web. Most guys at that time said they had the phone for a week or 2.

it would be nice to have a review, however reviews are always bias. blackberry has a 30 day return policy and carriers usually hace a 4 day policy if you can stay under 30 min talk time. there is no better way to judge a phone than by using if yourself.

It still hasn't had a proper announcement. It would be unbelievably stupid to give the phone to reviewers without having an official launch which highlights all that the phone has to offer so that people can be on the lookout and know what to see from reviews.
We all know how an android phone with an 808 runs anyway.

The 29th date was actually mentioned by a Bell rep on Reddit. Quite possible the date where carriers can start marketing it.
