Over the course of the last 3 days my Priv has been using my crazy amounts of the wifi indicator with the up and down arrows keeps flickering on or staying on. The problem is so bad, it drains my battery in ~3-4 hours.
I haven't installed anything new or done any updates in over a week
I try to check and see what was going on with my OS Monitor app, and it showed that Download, Google Play Services and ES File Manager were using up over 60% CPU consistently. This is even after rebooting the phone.

    Anyone see this problem before?

Also whats the best way to backup everything before I do a restore?

    thanks

Haven't seen the problem... maybe delete ES File Manager and reboot again.

Best way to backup... is to use the built-in backup features in settings along with the Google PHOTO app. Will keep you phone "synced" and backed up to Google Drive with no interference from you. Now there are a number of 3rd Party Backup apps that can save info to the SD Card or another file location.

You can also just plug your phone to your computer via USB, swipe down with one finger, tap the Charging notification and select file sharing from the list. Then drag and drop files from phone to computer. Easy peasy.
