Is there anyone have solid info on Priv's Camera Sensor ? There was rumor said it is a Sony Sensor Camera, but can't google a solid info out. but i have checked on Sony website, there is no 18M sensor module appeared.

I also heard it is actually a 21 PM sensor so that is why you may not have found it on the Sony website.

Prior to launch, the rumour was it may sport a Sony IMX230, which is 21MP as BB10_fan1 pointed out. The only call out on the sensor from BlackBerry is that it's a Back Side Illumination (BSI2) Stacked Sensor rated at 18MP.

Nothing to concern, just curious my friend. The hardware is as important as software work. They are twins. Sensor is headstone of good image quality, but without brilliant software work, the good sensor cannot show the true performance.
