It looks so much nicer in this video. I really hope it does well. Wish they were making a BlackBerry 10 version also as I'd buy them both! One can always dream.

    Lol my thoughts too
He could've easily shown the capacitive keyboard in action on the app drawer menu but I guess Mr. Chen is not good with the ladies lol

Chen sounds like he made an honest attempt at getting the apps customers wanted but couldn't and Android BlackBerry was the compromise.

Also, he made sure for the phone to have the best specs available, which seems to be the agreement from all the tech sites based on the leaked specs.

There are gestures, as all OS'es have been moving toward them, but Chen doesn't seem to know the Android ones.

Oh man, I just watched this on my desktop, with my nice pair of headphones. First, seriously, this is one smoking good looking phone. Not only is it good looking, but it feels solid when they hold it, and the slide out keyboard, gorgeous. The sound it makes when it slides out. Wow! Buying on release. Even if this is the last BlackBerry ever, at least we're going to go out on a bang!

I like at one point he tried to minimize the active app by swiping up.. then realized what he was holding, and pressed the home button... so archaic..

Again, that's Blackberry's marketing at it's finest. He should not have been the one demo'ing this phone without knowing how to use it. He looked inept as a CEO and the impression received is that "here is BB throwing mess out to the masses"! Not a smart move.

When BB10 was demo'd, it had slick marketing ads showing what the device could do before we actually saw it. Chen should have opted for something like that. Or, have some of his handlers demo it who are better prepared (now there's a thought) on it's operation.

    Oh boy...here we go!

    Go BB!

Nope! You always put your best foot forward. In other words, 1st impressions are lasting ones! Just think about the negative press he'd receive for having bobbled this or not enough coffee this morning. Chen fumbled and lost the ball again!
