    You're not alone. It appears that mobile devices in general make no sense to most people. The newest generation of this digital revolution motto is " It should just work!!

    Fact is Flash has all but disappeared for good and a better technology has taken it's place called HTML5.
    That should point you in the right direction.;
    What does flash vs. HTML5 have to do with Amazon Prime playing on some devices and not all? Are you suggesting that flash is supported by the dtek50 but not the Priv?

    Or are you saying that the Amazon Prime service is still using flash?

    If you will allow the installation of software from unknown sources you can download the Amazon video app directly from Amazon

    I don't have time to check my device but make sure that you did not remove or disable AUDIBLE on your Priv. Some Amazon apps seem to depend on Audible being enabled.

    It sounds like Amazon hasn't whitelisted the Priv for their Google Play version of their app. That might just be an oversight, or there might be a good reason (such as: it doesn't work right on the Priv for some reason). Given that it works on other BB Android devices, it's most likely an oversight.

    I would tend to agree. The fact that Google Play Store version works on my SE and not on the PRIV is mind boggling :-)

    Amazon is very particular with which devices they whitelist for Prime Video. They want to have as few support tickets as possible and also know that it is in their best interest to avoid less than optimum customer experiences with their products (same reason why WA is dropping BB10). They remove devices regularly. Smart TVs and players have the shortest lifespans.

    So, you are saying that my Passport SE is whitelisted

    No. It is fooled into thinking that it is something else.

    I watch Prime videos on my device all the time; granted, I prefer the larger screen of my smart TV.

    Interesting to see this app. In Germany it's not available in the Google play store, although video is part of prime.

    I don't see the app that RPCBlackberry posted the picture of and I'm in the US. I don't see it on the Priv and I don't see it visiting with my computer.

    You have to get amazon underground first, you'll find it available to download there. I've never been able to find the amazon video app in the play store ... I don't know what people are talking about when they say they got it there. (I'm in the US)

    Which country are you in? In Canada it does not work. Contacted Amazon and they have no explanation why it doesn't

    Amazon and apps on Google Play have always been weird anyway. Goes back when years when Amazon launched their own app store and ruffled Google's feathers. Amazon even pushed it further when they slipstreamed app updates in their Amazon shopping app lol. Although you shouldn't really have to, just download it direct from Amazon as noted and it will work fine.
