    Maybe a dumb question but I'm just gonna ask it haha; Is there a way to remove the 2 megapixel camera ans install a 5 megapixel camera into the Priv?

    Video shows the camera to be about 2mm thin, if that. Good luck finding a thin enough 5mpx shooter and trying to make it fit in that small space. Let along wiring and software.

    It's gonna be one hell of job, but it's worth it .. imagine a Priv with a 5 Megapixel front camera! That would be the ultimate phone right now.

    Just make sure you write new drivers, HAL, and do all the tuning too and then install that somehow

    Did you got any success. I have seen someone doing this kind of trick in samsung galaxy. Reply me soon as I will also be interested in doing this. Its very easy to take out the front camera in priv. I have seen the video of dissembling of priv.
