We haven't seen a new Porsche Design smartphone for a while.

Do you think the next Porsche Design smartphone will be based on BlackBerry Priv?

Blackberry might be done with Porsche Design phones. I think the Silver Edition(SE) is the new Porsche Design. However that said, Id love to see a Priv SE and I'd pay a small premium for it just like the Passport SE.

Passport SE was the Porsche phone, but Chen cut that to save costs and released it as a Silver Edition.

I'd like to see Black/Chrome(Classic BlackBerry Colours), White/Pink, White/Chrome and Bronze/Red(Iron Man Colours)

Yes, but I think Porsche was the one that backed out, so Chen just removed the label and sold it as SE.

Maybe after seeing the BlackBerry Priv slider design, Porsche Design has decided to skip the passport form factor and go for a slider instead. I wonder if they would go for Android or perhaps the first slider BlackBerry 10 will be from Porsche Design?

I never got the whole porsche design thing anyways. Personally I think its ugly and annoying to have PORSCHE DESIGN across my phone. I like the metal look but thats about it. Silver Edition is the way to go.

Highly doubtful... I would be interested to see if this happens... But even Porsche rejects Google... They'd rather Apple instead...

Porsche chooses Apple CarPlay because Google reportedly asks for too much data | The Verge

That's not looking reasonable. They should really go to BlackBerry QNX. It looks like they just don't put to put all eggs into 1 basket.

But isn't Apple's CarPlay runs on BlackBerry QNX?

    Porsche markets "quality"

Android is not exactly the epitome of quality. We might soon see a Toyota Edition T'9984. Cheap parts, manufactured for the masses.

Porsche Design isn't even the same entity as Porsche. Your argument is invalid.

    Why bother?

PD's target demographic is ostentatious/thick/other adjectives enough to still buy a 400% markup surplus BB10 phone.

It's the same brand, selling fashion items based on the quality associated to the Porsche Auto Company.

So my argument (which was just a joke) is very valid.
