I've had my Priv for a little less than a week. I'm generally happy with it, but I'm missing some of the BlackBerry 10 features. One is peek notifications, i.e. then a notification comes in it briefly drops down from the top of the screen, and you can choose to reply to it and so on. It only seems to work for email notifications. I've spent a few hours searching blogs on how to enable this for other app notifications. Is it even possible on the Priv?

As for bbm, don't think so..

As for text, I use Yaata and it really customizable and allows for quick replies from the top when you get a message. It really depends on app..

Why bbm doesn't have it I don't know though

It's up to BlackBerry to add the feature to their BBM app.

Thanks. I installed Yaata and it seems to meet my needs. I'm not sure why they don't enable this for their own messaging app - BBM. Maybe in time.

If you are on Verizon, the message + app gives you a chance to answer in a similar way. I like yaata with the exception of one thing. I can't seem to get videos to send. Other than that I like the way it integrates

I am on Verizon. I was using the Message+ app but could not figure out how to configure the peek notifications. Any tips?
