So I was so frustrated with my Priv battery life!
Today my wifi at home was down so I'm of wifi
And all day using it I'm like I'm sure it's at 5 percent
Low and behold it was (and still is ) at 70 percent
Why is being on wifi draining my battery , if the router is right here ? A couple feet away ?

My understanding is that your battery will drain if you're on a weak connection, whether that's cell data or WiFi. So if you have full bars from the nearest cell tower and 1-2 bars of WiFi, you might be better off on cell data.

Mostly, people have a steady and solid WiFi connection, so battery comes out better on that.

Battery life has on MM has shown a significant improvement . IMO about 20 percent improvement . My device is able to last more than 10 hours now .

I had the same experience with WiFi.

Moreover, at times when you have it switched off, the battery usage still shows it. I've tried turning off the Location options etc but of no avail. I have raised a bug with BlackBerry already using their beta forums.
