I like the BlackBerry launcher. I tend to stay away from custom launchers (drain battery, give up data, not optimized).

Despite that, I've used and liked arrow launcher.

Still, pop up widgets and the spark have kept me on BlackBerry launcher.

The BlackBerry launcher is the closest that I can get to feeling and looking like a BlackBerry device.

    It stays.

I like the BlackBerry launcher for the keyboard shortcuts, but that's the only unique thing about the launcher.

I bought Nova too, but it doesn't have keyboard shortcuts, so I stick with BB launcher for now.

Definitely the BlackBerry launcher. It is clean and lean. If I wanted the overlays I would have purchased another Samsung.

There's a separate thread that talks about people achieving better battery after switching to Nova.

I've just installed it. Honestly there's not much visible differences so stop saying BlackBerry Launcher is better. Nova has so much customisation.

I think it's running smoother as well. All BlackBerry features work except keyboard shortcuts and scroll up widgets.

Through the Unread count badges setting and the TeslaUnread app. You can configure the various apps you want to have unread counts on. Note that it's not working properly with the Hub and they are working on it.

I'm annoyingly particular with how I set up/customize my phones. It took me forever to get use to an android device years ago when I threw in the towel on BB. I have been using nova for maybe 3 years? So naturally that was the first app install on my priv, and I think it pairs beautifully with this phone! I guess being a creature of habit. I have yet to check out the stock launcher. Even though I'm overly excited to be back with BB, I'm just in love with nova!

Nova launcher is really cool. I like it a lot. Customizations offered by this launcher are very nice. I do think that Nova take advantage of blackberry high res display very well. The only minus I see is the unread messages counter which does not work with blackberry hub. It would be awesome if they could enable it with the hub

Nova support was very quick to answer my email regarding teslaunread. I was told to join beta testing.

I joined teslaunread beta and there is unread messages option for blackberry hub !

Does using nova launcher allow all of BlackBerry services to function correctly? In other words, is there a penalty to pay if I use nova versus the BlackBerry Launcher on my Priv?
