Prior to BlackBerry pushing out its update to shopbb and Amazon devices, when listening to music over bluetooth a nice loud notification sound would play over bluetooth. I never missed a notification this way, a welcomed change from how bb10 operated. (The phone itself played a very faint sound that you could never hear)

After the update a notification now causes the music to nearly mute and a barely audible notification plays over bluetooth. I thought my music was skipping at first, until I realized that the cutout was actually when nearly silent notifications were coming through.

BlackBerry, please fix this. I don't want to miss notifications when listening to music. If a user doesn't want to be disturbed by notifications, they can turn on Do Not Disturb. Give us a choice!

My behaviour is the volume goes low but this was the same before the update as well.

No change in behavior here was half muted before and is now.
