I don't receive texts longer than the first 160 characters or whatever.

Is this happening to anyone else? Makes texting people ridiculously frustrating because I have to ask them to resend and that's when it works.

Which carrier are you on, and which carrier are they on?
Also, which SMS app are you using?

I'm using the default messenger app. I'm on T-Mobile. And I'm pretty sure they are also.

Let me suggest Textra -- far far better than the stock messaging app --

Textra is far better than the stock app but that being said I haven't heard of anyone else having this kind of SMS issue so I would look into settings, contact TMobile etc too, there's obviously some underlying problem that I don't think is the phone's fault

looked at Yaata.. this app permission is why I'm not going install it.

I had QKSMS which I liked a lot but the images wouldn't send/receive so Im on textra now. Let's see how this goes
