Half of January has gone but January security update didn't show up for stv100-3. Anyone confirm getting it?

I can confirm that my asia pac 3 model has not received the jan security update. I'm in Aus.

I am in india. Usually used to get by 10th..latest by 15.

Guess now i will have a new 'latest by' date

Verizon is also behind as usual.

I guess that they will hold off on monthly Security Updates as they did before the Marshmallow update until Nougat is ready and then wait another 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 months.

Hi guys. Usually stv 3 is slow by at least 3 weeks from the actual date. We still got about 5-6 days before we get our update..

Has anyone asked bb about it in the past? I only got my priv on 5 jan this year, so don't have any historical comparisons.

I got my factory unlocked stv 100-3 in the last week of October 2016. It was loaded with October update.

Nov update showed up on 15th. Dec on 10th. January still nothing till 16th.

Are you unlocked on telstra? when did you get the update? (from memory telstra didn't sell the priv .... so yes, factory (?) unlocked ....)

Yep, unlocked and unbranded from bbstore.com.au. On Telstra. Had the update for a while now, cannot recall the date. BlackBerry told me all updates in Australia are independent of carriers. I am in the Beta testing group, so possible it was Beta update only.

Yep, unlocked and unbranded from bbstore.com.au. On Telstra. Had the update for a while now, cannot recall the date. BlackBerry told me all updates in Australia are independent of carriers. I am in the Beta testing group, so possible it was Beta update only.

Ah no wonder, you used to sign up for the beta that's why you've received the update sooner.. but it's good to see you've got the update which brings me confidence that my STV-3 will eventually see the update. Yay!!

Yes I have the STV100-3 Optus model here in Australia. I always seem to receive the security update roughly 2 and half weeks after announcement. I received it this morning. Happy camper here😁

Not bad.. Just had a quick "check for update" and voila.. It went in! Installing now and rebooting now! STV-3, unlocked unbranded.
