Noticed my mute button didn't push in yesterday and took the back off and saw where the small black cover that sits directly on the motherboard on the internal part the phone is missing. Everything on outside part of the phone works, but that missing peice on the inside is missing preventing anything from being pushed on the mute button. How can this be repaired?

Please see the photo attached. This is from a teardown video. While this is the power button side, this is the small cover my mute button is missing causing it now to work. Any suggestions??

It should still be under warranty. You can give BlackBerry a call and see what they suggest.

You have a one year warranty. I would contact your carrier or bb.

If somehow blackberry denies warranty, you can tape a small piece of folded paper to the underside of the button on the case as a workaround. I cut from PostIt and folded two or three times.
