After the update this morning I've noticed one thing acting odd. I plugged my phone in to charge and it asked me to boost the charging. It didn't give me a specific app that was letting me do this.

Then when I unlocked my phone later it notified me of how much it had charged extra since I put it on compared to normal.

Is this some feature from an app I have installed that's never worked until now for some unknown reason? I'm completed befuddled.

I noticed only one thing. If I click on settings
(Which isn't much of any settings) it says "du quick boost" I think. Something to that extent. But I have no app installed as such. And under play store it is an app I can install but it doesn't say it's installed?

If you have ES file explorer I think it is from that app. I was in the app and it has a prompt for boost charging.

I do, but I don't see the settings for this. And it's never come up before? I most certainly didn't allow it. If it is from es file explorer I'm OK with this as it hasn't hindered me before.

As the previous commenter noted, it's under the menu tab(top left corner) and hit the tools tap. Then as in the picture it's at the bottom.

I didn't. But I don't usually time my charge. Or check it at all in any capacity. It's usually only on charge at night so it doesn't matter.

I think what it does is close running processes so the phone will use less juice while charging, which may result in charging more quickly.
