    Just got a new unlocked Priv from BlackBerry and it's running Android version 5.1.1. Went into settings and tried to update but it says it's up to date. How do I get it to update to marshmellow?

    Shouldn't have to use autoloader, but................
    Try tapping 'Check for Update' several times and.or holding it. Often mine does nothing with a single tap.
    Also note, BB is sending out lots of updates at the moment, try again tomorrow.

    Just got my Priv today from shopblackberry... also came with Lollipop... trying to get Marshmallow on it now...like the phone so far... but a little disappointed that it didn't come preloaded with M.

    You should be able to get it. Open Main Settings, About (both of entire list), Top Item, check for update. See if MM is offered.

    There's a new version, I think in the last few days so they may be dolling them out over time.

    Actually they're not, most of them are full release 'Gold', but BB doesn't bother to change the description, so it can get confusing.
