    Any way to start a back up manually through the "backup & restore" app?

    It says it automatically does it every 24hrs.. I wanted to make it do it now.

    Just got the update notice and wanted to back up my phone now. I keep the auto-backup switch Off. I did just turn it on-hand the Wi-Fi, plugged it up and nothing yet.

    I'm not sure if you can trigger it manually.

    There are 3rd party apps that can backup some aspects of the phone and its data.
