Wondering if anyone else is having issues with the bottom volume button no longer working?

It must be coincidence, but it hasn't worked since the Marshmallow update. If i want to lower media, alarm, or call volume i now have to hit the upper button then slide to the desired volume, very annoying.
I'm also unable to take screenshots now as well because that key is used with the power button.

I have tried a hard reset a few times and powered down for periods of time.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

I am having a similar issue, the volume itself functions, but the tone that indicates the strenght no longer sounds. I am having issues with facebook messenger alerts as well since the update. after checking to make sure they alerts were turned on and uninstalling and reinstalling the app itself, i still don't get new message alerts. The in App sounds are functional. Any Ideas?
