Can anyone recommend a weather widget that won't eat battery? I like AccuWeather but all of a sudden it started acting up. I have no other widgets running but the clock. My priv is working El stinko right now. I had about three good days now everything is buggy.

AccuWeather does eat battery but I think they have in-app settings for refresh rates to mitigate that.

I use Yahoo Weather because it has cellular data limit settings, that's what really eats battery because these apps are always pinging the network to update info. The widgets are okay.

OneWeather has the most robust widget set with theming options and doesn't use much battery, but the app itself is ugly.

If you're really worried about battery just Google the weather. They have pretty in depth embedded info now.

I use HD widgets. It doesn't seem to eat battery too bad.

I use the Weather Underground widget. Seems to be fine on battery for me.
