Have y'all noticed some glitches with the keyboard when typing input?

Here are some things that I have experienced which I find annoying (but not deal-breaking):

FYI I use Google Hangouts as my default texting app

1. When typing a message, often the first character I type does not default to a capital letter. For some reason, if I use the backspace key prior to typing, it will correctly auto-capitalize that first letter. Also, if I backspace to correct the non-cap letter, it will once again correctly default to a capital letter.

2. Auto-Correct options do not automatically appear when I am using the physical keyboard. In fact, I would say it is unusual for the autocorrect options to appear at all.

3. The press-and-hold to type a capital letter often does not work. It will just keep repeating the letter (kkkkkkkkk) instead of changing the letter to a capital.

4. It is hit-or-miss with the "alt" key status showing up on the tray. Sometimes it will show if I have locked the "alt" (in order to input a bunch of numbers or symbols) and sometimes it won't.

These all appear to be software bugs and hopefully will be corrected in a patch. However, I have yet to see a post from anyone documenting these annoyances. Has anyone else noticed these issues?

Hi...

Can anyone please help me figure out how to turn off auto correct option on the Priv? Im not taking about predictive text... just auto correct... I sure short and slang and I am having the hardest time with this!

To OP regarding item #2, I don't have a Priv but played with two of them in AT&T stores. When going through the settings I noticed the auto-correct strength defaulted lower for the pkb. You'll probably have to bump that up a level or two to see much auto-correct action.
