I noticed that I am getting worse battery life than with the December update on my priv. Anyone else experiencing the same bug?

It's not a bug and for the most part happens on all mobile devices.
It takes a few days for everything to "settle in."

Get in the habit of rebooting your device once a day and whenever you upgrade, update or download.
Most apps need the reboot to finish the installation!

If all fails, hold power button for 32 second for a battery pull.

So is anyone else having sporadic physical keyboard issues since the update? Once and a while my spacebar just stops working and I have to restart the phone to fix it. Also three times the x bottom has gone nuts without touching it. It keeps writing x's until I bakc out of the current app I am in. Wtf

I haven't received it yet but if this is the case it would be too bad.
I consider that the December update given the best battery life in the phone since launch date.
At least this is my experience.

Agree. My phone is pretty much perfect right now, especially in regards to battery. It would be a shame if this update boinks that.

Will be interesting to see if other experience this.

It's an official fix, smarta**. The "battery pull" disconnects everything and kills any possible startup processes that could be causing the drains.

I take it none of the reboot options will delete any content?

Nope, those are all reboots, not hard resets.

They do not. Although, I found that booting to Safe Mode and then returning to normal, you may very well lose icons and widgets from your home screen. Apps are not gone but the careful, personal placement of them on certain pages and in certain positions will disappear - happened to me twice!

This is bad advice. There should be no need to reboot the device at all. Android manages processes quite well on its own.

Also, you don't need to close apps. Just leave them in memory. This will improve battery life dramatically since the apps will not require any CPU load.

Do not use Greenify or any task killer either. These cause more harm than good.

Just leave Android alone. You don't see iOS users rebooting their devices, and Android is no different. It is smart enough to shut down processes on its own.
