Awesome. I'm on an unlocked STV100-1 Priv. Do I need to wait on the update from Blackberry, or is there a way I can force the phone to see the update on Blackberry's servers and download it?

Go to settings > about phone > system updates

By the way whatsapp in the hub is fixed.

I received the OTA, downloaded it and the phone started to reboot. During the reboot, it froze for more than 5 moinutes. I had to hard reboot it (holding down the power and volume button). After the reboot, it shows Android 5.1.1 and doesn't show the OTA when I check for updates. My phone is unlocked, bought from Shop Blackberry, running Straight Talk AT&T sim.

Anyone running into the same issue?

Do Not Reboot
It'll do that when it's ready, and an update like this takes a lot of time.
Since you rebooted during the update, I have no idea what to tell you.
Plenty of people on here a lot smarter than me though.

Battery life seems fantastic . Guess this update will make me stick with BlackBerry. Hope I'll live to see the Priv 2.

Now running it. In France STV4 bought from the BBshop.

It also "unlocks" more BBapps downloads (contacts, note, calender,...)

Seems like it betters the phone (first impression)
