Closing applications is actually bad for battery life in Android. Keeping apps running in the background uses less CPU than reloading the app every time you need it.

Having said that, I still close everything because OCD and because swiping the apps away brings back PlayBook memories.
I close android apps because scrolling through a ton of paused apps is annoying when switching between the ones you need.

I was not advocating anything, just re-posting from an Android site to show there is much talk about issues with M.

    Hi.

If you have the device, could you download the app "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.vipek.camera2_compatibility_test" and report on the manual capabilities of the camera? Manual control and RAW is really important to me.
I can't see you replied to this Privberry. I even sent you a private message about it. If you don't feel like testing it, please say so.

Can you please download the app and check what manual setting is possible with the Priv camera?

Anyone know if it'll have multi-window capabilities? I find it super useful on my Note.

Privberry, on the lock screen, it appears that notifications are located at the top. Can you click them and see a preview of what the notification says or are they just icons?

I was wondering if there's an option for dark theme, I hate using light theme on apps especially at night

The thing is, you're not expected to scroll through the recent apps list. The idea is that you just re-open the one you need by tapping the same icon (or widget) that you used to run it the first time.

If you have all of your most used apps anchored on the home screen, you can re--run them from anywhere in two steps. Tap the home button, then tap the icon. The app will load instantly because you didn't close it and it's much faster than trying to find it in your recent apps list.

    Privberry,
There's some debate as to whether all messages open in the Hub or some switch to a separate app when the message is selected. Can you provide some clarification? Thanks.
