Could it be that the Hub isn't updating the mailaccount while in android energysaving mode. It updated the phonecalls I did but didn't update my mails until I went out of the energysave mode.

Anyone else (on newest October app/OS update including OS restarts)?

Power saving mode does block background data (to save power) you might have to manually refresh while in power saving mode

Energy saving mode will block all data and will send and receive data once in a while

Well I thought it should use data at the foreground app and if update triggered manually. Ah well I know now and will exit saving mode for hub.

So here is another bug for energysaving mode in hub. If you have it activated you can't search in remote exchange directory for mailadresses and it tells you would be in offline mode (which is not the case). So there really is something fishy in the implementation of hub + energysave mode.

It must be me but isn't the whole idea of energy saving mode that you do not have general full blown functionality and that certain aspects naturally are turned off to save battery capacity (such as fetching/pushing mail among others)? Not sure if your findings can be considered "bugs" per se if it would turn out to be exactly the way it supposed to be while in energy saving mode. That said, you'll probably find more restrictions along the way. I guess the question would rather be if some sort of list exist or could be posted by BB employees or listed in the online Blackberry help manual (http://help.blackberry.com/en/priv/current/) regarding what restrictions exactly exist in energy mode.
