Does anyone know how to do this? I want to be able to go from YouTube to Gmail for example by holding a key on the physical keyboard.

Hmm. I'm not sure you can use the pkb from within an app to launch another app.

But to assign shortcuts, find an open space on your home page(s) and press/hold, then hit Settings. Third item down.

(and why this is not in the Main Settings for keyboard/language, I don't know.)

Yes I know about that from the home screen but thought how useful it would be to be able to use those shortcuts anywhere

I am still no Priv expert. So it might be possible but I'm not sure where to look. But have a feeling, when in an app, the keyboard is intended for data entry in that app and not setup to swoosh you to another app.

Totally agreed but is not possible at least as of today.
