Hey guys so I was just wondering how to delete one occurrence of an event on the Blackberry Priv's calendar app. Every time I go to delete I get this screen and I feel like these two options basically do the same thing and it's not what I want. I just simply want to remove an event for a day (it's my school schedule but I'm on March break so I don't want the notifications) and then have them still on for every other day that follows but there doesn't seem to be an option for that, unless of course I'm missing something.

For a recurring event, you should see 3 options.

"Only this event" would delete the occurrence for the one day.

It looks like you're editing, rather than deleting.

Start again, and just open the event on the day that you wish to delete the occurrence. Tap the trashcan symbol at top right. You should then see the options as in my pic.

Even for editing I get three choices. Have you updated your various app?

Although, I not sure what the difference between choices 2 and 3 are?

My first reply is of what happens when I do what you just directed, still only have those two options.

They're all up to date and the difference is that first option you have allows you to edit or delete the single selected occurrence of the event, mine only gives the last two options which means deleting the event and any other occurrence rather than just for one day or a few days

3 changes occurrences from the selected date forward, leaving the previous occurrences intact. 2 changes all , past and future.

What type of account is your calendar linked to? Gmail, a school-based calendar, local calendar only?

Mine are all tied to ActiveSync accounts (paid outlook.com, and Office365).

Mine is a Gmail account just for info. I kind of realized after I posted that it might mean PAST events (but why change past when they either did or did not occur BACK THEN!!!)

It can be useful just to clean up a calendar by deleting a series of events that just don't matter anymore. Or, correct an embarrassing typo in an event series. (I have experience with this one!)
