With BB10 devices you could change the name of the device in the settings. I'd like to change the name of my STV100-3 to "Bob's Priv". I can't find a way to accomplish this in the settings. Does anybody know if it's possible?

Not possible and honestly, I can't think of a case in which you would need to. One of the only reasons it was possible on BB10 was so that you could identify sep. devices when using Link and considering there's no real BlackBerry provided PC/Mac component for Priv, even that need is gone. I suppose for WiFi or BT purpose's there's a reason but that's actually possible through the WiFi and BT settings.

For BT: Go to Settings>Bluetooth>Menu in the top right>Rename Device
For WiFi: Go to Settings>More>Tethering & Mobile Hotspot>Set up Mobile Hotspot

Yeah, it's mostly for Bluetooth reasons. I know it's probably silly, but I liked when it connected to my uConnect that on screen it read "connected to Bob's Priv".

Go to Bluetooth>Settings (top right)>rename this device

Actually, a very good reason for renaming your phone is so that you can identify what's connected to your wifi router and has what IP. Currently you CANNOT rename Android devices without rooting, so if you have multiple Androids on your wifi, good luck trying to identify them.
