[CrackBerry Question]

I have notification sounds set up for BBM, SMS, etc. They work fine if the phone is just sitting there. However, if I pair the phone to a Bluetooth speaker and play music, the notifications do not sound. The music seems to pause for a second when I receive the message and then continues to play. How do I get the notification sounds to play when I am playing music? The speaker I am using is a Sony SRS-X33 and I've turned phone audio off in the Bluetooth settings on the Priv, as I don't want to use the speaker as a speakerphone.
