I recently switched back to Blackberry from a Samsung Galaxy S5 and since the Priv is Android based i thought it would be a good transition since they both use the Android OS, however I am unable to find a way to delay sending texts or emails (I have a large range of set delays to choose from, even days or weeks). Is this possible with the Priv? IF not, how can I recommend this to blackberry engineers?

Send your question to BlackBerry directly.

I have been trying to contact Blackberry via their official webpage but the feedback and contact links go directly to the DTEK50 page....
Is there a link you can provide?

I miss this built in option in Samsung devices, along with block # where they can't even leave a message and it blocks unknown callers! Shame Google nexus Cant figure that out.....

This is a two folded issue on "BlackBerry powered by Android" devices as the hub acts as starting point for both message types (email and txt/sys/mms) but only sends email directly. SMS are rerouted to a messaging app like google messenger / Textra or Yaata and there you HAVE e.g. in YAATA the possibilty to defer send but as i see only for 5s (which is not the way want it i think).

So you have BB add this option to hub for email AND a messaging app that does it perhaps right now. Perhaps BB product manager Cody is reading this thread.

I have a Priv and have used Yaata almost since first day. I switched from native app so I could set the enter key (on pkb) to send.

Yaata has a delay option that delays by seconds/ninutes/days. I haven't tried it for more than a few hours but it shows options to change dates.

Hope this helps! This is a texting app. Not sure about emails...

Email delayed sending is on the roadmap, but can't comment on timing.

Free does time delay. Click on the "+" and select - in the menu- the clock icon.

    For emails, try Boomerang.

Sending emails and text messages on time you want? Also to multiple recipients.
Download SMSbyNOW. I always use it on bb10 z30. They already have it on Android for priv as I have downloaded it as well. Try it.

Okay, take me to school. Where do you find this in the Samsung email client on GS6 Edge running Marshmallow? I can recall it being there at some point but can't find it again now when looking. I'm probably staring right at it
