I can't figure out how to change app notifications sounds

you can change the notifications in the settings of each app. i downloaded a file manager to change it to a ringtone that was on my sd card instead of using the ones that come with the phone.

Open the app and look for an overflow menu, usually three dots on top of each other (and in the top corners) if the app is somewhat modern. If the app is a little older, look for a settings gear icon. Hopefully this helps.
If you still need help, tell me which app you're trying to alter settings for.

For example, at the top-right ↗ of the CrackBerry App there's an overflow menu with three dots. (see attached)
