Pretty sure there was a post about this awhile back, but can't find it

I've lost the ability to have different ringtones for specific/individual contacts.

Tried everything I can think of. Using device storage instead of sd card.

I've thought of changing phone app to see if that would help, but reviews for other then original app are pretty poor.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I didn't have any problems with mine. You are talking about phone ringtones correct? I only have a couple setup. Using Solid Explorer file manager. Just go to whichever contact you want, edit, hit the three dots in the upper right corner. Set ringtone. This automatically takes me to the internal storage in my file manager. Go to ringtones folder, click on the one I want. Automatically goes back to the edit screen. Hit the check mark in the upper left corner. Done. The only issue I see is that it doesn't show what ringtone is assigned to the contact in the contact itself. My contacts are all local, don't know if that makes any difference.

Yeah, I've done that. Still uses default ringtone. ...
