Hi all

Learning to love the priv and trying to make the learning curve. It is tough with all the settings that you have to find. I love the Google Now and started using it for making my appointments. So far I have yet to repeat myself, it picks up the right info every time.

However I just noticed it is saving everything to my Gmail and not my default work account. This is problematic. I have searched threads and it seems as though this can't be fixed.

Can someone confirm if we can change the default Calendar in Google now?

The default is set up correctly in the app just not when you want to use the assistant.

As a follow up once the appointment is saved it will not allow you to edit and change the calendar it is saved to. You must delete the appointment and re-enter it in the right calendar.

Can confirm your above statement.

I just tested it on my Google Now and yup, it saves to Google Now and not the default calendar.

Cannot find a workaround.

It's an android. So you are subjected to googles rules.

I don't use Google now but there was a time when you could use other calendars with it but then Google removed that option. Not sure if they ever added that option back again but I can't find it.

I just found a slight modification.

Start your appointment in Goggle now and get it to the point where it asks you to save. Then click the open in calendar icon. It will populate everything you told it in your default Calendar. All you need to do is click save

Not great but saves you from having to type it all in.
