    My Priv is suddenly laggy since yesterday and won't charge when being used. I have rebooted several times.

    Oh and:

    Google Now beta possibly causing Priv to suddenly laggy and won't charge when used-104120.jpg

    What should I do?

    Mine went nuts yesterday too. Battery was at 60% when I got up in the morning despite being plugged in. Charged it in the car for 2.5 hrs while driving in the morning, but it was dead by noon, and wouldn't charge in the car. Charged it after I got home to 100%, then turned it on, and it's been fine today. Not much help for you, and frustrating when a new device lets me down when I needed it at work.

    Just found the culprit.

    I opted into Google Now (Google app) beta testing. Uninstslled the app completely and temperatures have gone from 70 to 35 celsius and it's no longer laggy, super hot or draining fast. Seems the last Google Now update is terrible.

    Any app updates in last 48 hours? Remove all the apps that were updated in the past 48 hours and wait 5-10 minutes and see. Could be a rouge updated app with a wakelock.

    Lulz. First thing I disabled was google now. My device runs great. Except when it doesn't.
