I am curious if anyone with a Ford Sync (mine was just updated yesterday - 2012 Ford Explorer) system has the ability to send and receive text/sms messages with the PRIV. I have the Z30 and when I first got my Explorer this worked perfectly but hasn't for the last year or so - no message is read or displayed. Curious if it's a BlackBerry 10 issue that has since been resolved with a PRIV because it's on Android. Just another reason to get the PRIV if that's the case...Thanks!

I have a Sync 2 system (2010 Ford F150 King Ranch ). After an update I got the send / receive txt feature, but the Sync 2 system has gotten slower to respond that I ended up turning that feature off on AT&T Passport. Now after the update answering a call is painful as the system takes 2 to 3 seconds to acknowledge the call answer and by then the person on the other end is not sure I can here them. I think the main problem is with Ford and the update.

I have an Escape Hybrid with Sync v4.4. It reads and sends texts fine, both from my Z10 before and from my Priv now.
