    Please!

Concept: switch that can be turned on to save both original resolution and a 1024x or 640x size of all photos taken.

Why? For easy browser and stupid app uploads to various places. Right now you need to use photo resizer app or similar, but this is easy to do at the time of the capture.

    Please and thank you!

You could email it to yourself and pick a reduced size and then when it comes back, save it in Downloads or elsewhere. Not quite as transparent.

Well in fact there are apps like Autodesk Pixlr (in saving dialog "userdefined resolution) for that, but some options on photo taking would be welcome, even google camera has an MP option even on PRIV

"Photo resizer" does a decent job of it too, but it's an extra step.

My point is simply that adding an option to the camera app to save a reduced-resolution copy of each picture (1) requires little SD card space (since the resolution is reduced), (2) requires very little processing time (since it's few bits on-balance compared to the original) and (3) is extremely useful for social media, web site uploads and such.

Yes, I know, the "apps" will do that as you upload if you use them, but for sites on the 'net that you wish to use browser access for, or which don't HAVE apps (there are some) this is a big advantage and it's very easy to add to the camera app for processing at the time the picture is taken.

If they're dumped into a separate folder then maintaining it is also easy since once in a while you just clear that folder; as they're simply reduced-resolution *copies* you haven't lost anything.

Simple feature adds that are value-added differentiating points are always good; this one is trivial for BlackBerry to add and is exactly such a point, as I'm aware of no other device that has it on the market today.
