I dropped my Priv twice. Once from pocket height. Once from about 5ft(pocket plus 2 porch steps. Both times onto concrete. I'm thoroughly impressed with the build quality here. Minor dings on the corners but no glass damage and the slight wobble and click didn't get any worse.

Figuring I used up all my luck I went ahead and got the seidio case. It does at a bit more bulk than I'd like(but no case feels as good as a naked BlackBerry). It's definitely good looking and seems to provide adequate protection. My only concern is that it seems to add quite a bit of drag to the slider. I like the way the naked device "snaps" open and closed. Does anyone have a fix for this or different case recommendation?

I've generally added more than one picture. But the other day, they all added but the one turned out to be like yours - A "thumbnail" and I'm not sure why although it was the largest in size.

I use a flip case to protect the front, too. But I hike, bike and cross-country ski with my phones and even in the pack, it can get crunched!

Would a rubbing of paraffin help?

The CB for Android app sucks... Only seems to allow one image at a time vs the BB10 app where I can upload many images at once. Typically I send the images to my Classic and post via the BB10 app or I simply upload my photos in multiples from Priv using the CB Web directly...


To the OP, excellent to see you've seemed to have located a durable, protective case for your Priv! I rock my Priv pseudo-nude -scantily clad in a clear full body skin, TPU screen protector and lens protector- and tote it in a draw string pouch that used to house the BlackBerry sunglasses I won via @BlackBerry's Twitter swag contest several years ago (fits like it was meant for the Priv), but I'm sure those who have been pondering a case that will protect their device will find this news excellent!

I don't drop test mine but I've had the same case for awhile now. The drag on the kb doesn't get any better and I actually like that it added a bit of thickness to the priv. I still like the way my z30 fits in my hand better but it is what it is. For the price of these phones I just can't justify not having a case. Need to get a tempered glass screen protector now. I'm convinced my z30 screen was saved with one.

I have been using the SIKAI TPU 3D screen protector since I purchased the Priv... Although I opted to go with the single piece as opposed to the 2 pieces to maintain screen functionality/feedback... The 2 piece set is more likely to be decreased in touch sensitivity... With the single layer protector I haven't noticed a loss of sensitivity in the slightest...
