Anyone got any ideas why this morning all of a sudden the double tap on dark screen won't wake up my phone. I check setting toggled back and forth and rebooted several time.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

You may need to totally reset your phone if you've already tried those other things and it still doesn't work.... because that's the way you can at least get close to finding out if it's a hardware or software issue...

I did these updates just before this happened.

This is crazy and so is a reset to fix such an issue.

Report ... it just started working again. I left the phone alone for a while and tapped and it worked.

Weird.

If you are using a case with magnet that could be the reason. Like folding the cover of the flipcase or laying the phone on the blackberry pouch. Just guessing.

There's a couple of pretty heavy apps there.
Android takes a while for all that new stuff to settle in and get comfortable with each other and the OS.
It makes no sense to me, buts it's true.
