This question takes me back to the Torch days.

When your screen is closed and you press down on the sides, does the screen slightly rock? I first noticed it when grabbing my phone off the table and holding the phone with my hand wrapped around the display.

    Thanks.

No it doesn't rock at all. It gives a little in the center of the screen and the back creaks a bit but there is zero wobble.

Yes. With the screen closed when i press on the right side it is firm but on the left, especially the lower left, there must be a gap as it "clicks" down

Do you have a Priv and know what I'm referring to? If not, get out of this thread.

My priv screen has no rocking or clicking on any corners. The tiny gap tolerances on this device is somewhat amazing.

Yes I have what you are talking about but I assumed it was normal. I love this device and hope it's not a defect as my local store only had the one in stock

Based on the thread title I thought the subject was "was your Blackberry Priv screen look fantastic?" I have a dapper feline dressed in a "suit and tie."

Well I went to the other local corporate store that originally didn't have any on Friday to see if I could do an exchange
They had 2 units plus a demo and we checked them all and they all had it one had it on both sides.

The sales girl said there probably all like
That and so I didn't exchange it.
As I was waiting 2 other people came in asking for one.

I'm with you on this. Many threads created should be locked/deleted or merged with a thread called complaints & sabotage!

    No my screen doesn't rock....

There will always be a little bit of clack sound and slight movement of the two moving parts.

I remember my first sliders were the LG 535, then a Torch 9800, then a Torch 9810, and now the Priv by BlackBerry (with many non slider devices in between of course). Guess what? Every single slider has had some kind of minimal movements and or 'clack sound' from time to time. In a couple months of having used your Priv, you'll be sliding it open like a switch blade and you'll notice not these little things.

Just use your device, nothing is ever perfect. You're always going to find things on new devices that you're completely going to forget about in no time at all. Look close enough at anything, you'll find perceived flaws.

You're using a Priv now, you've been upgraded! Enjoy that!

    I Love My Priv!

Now that I've secured a BlackBerry hard shell case, everything is a bit tighter. Good case actually. Just wish it came with a screen protector.

This is as close to perfect a slider can be.
