Good question. If the pod merely re-routes the power to the pod's output, it might work. BUT if the QC has special cabling or maybe a different wired plug, it might need the direct connection.

Let's see if someone has an answer.

Rapid charger by BlackBerry does not come with the USB cable. So I guess no special wiring is needed. Should work.
