Just read the specs from Gadgets 360 and it says the Priv does not have NFC? Is that true?

Thanks!!! That would have been more of an issue than the 2MP front facing camera to me!

OK, I have to ask. How is holding your phone to the terminal any different or better than swiping a credit card?

its safer. your card can be stolen and used without a PIN upto a certain amount while if your phone is stolen, they cant use its nfc unless they can unlock your phone. if they remove your sim card they still wont be able to use your cc in a different phone unless they can unlock your sim card first

Plus you don't have to fiddle through your wallet for a card... or hope it didn't get dirty and fail to read... your phone is always within reach.

    Of course it does.

Starting from the Z30 every BlackBerry 10 device had OTG.

USB OTG is supported by the Snapdragon 808 processor inside the PRIV and every current android device has OTG nowadays.

Absolutely NO REASON it won't have OTG.

Well, usually my wallet is in my pocket.. The debit card I normally use is bunched up with all these other credit cards and ID's. When I drive I normally have my phone in the cup holder since I listen to music. When I go somewhere that has a drive thru, I just grab my phone, unlock it and pay with it.

It's just convenient but yeah sure you can do it just as easily with your credit card
