    The camera is the barcode reader, you just need to find an app that decodes what you want.

    I went to BBM on my Priv and I see the Barcode scanner. It looks like a QR Reader. Are they the same thing? Is this also a QR Reader?

    BBM on the Priv is only a QR code reader. A QR code is not same as a Barcode since a barcode since that is usually used for products and a QR code is for websites. You need a separate reader for a barcode

    In the Priv's BBM, there is an option to "Scan Barcode." I don't see anything about QR. I know that barcodes are for products and QR can take you to a website. But I do not see a QR reader in my Priv. If there is one, where should I be looking? It's hard for me to believe the Priv does not have a QR scanner. Even my old BlackBerry Torch came with one. Thanks!

    Try the Barcode scanner in BBM it works as a QR reader
