Wow! Did you cancel your pre-order?
    Can't pre-order for Verizon.

That phone may have some collectors' value above the $700 retail price if you have the "provenance" to go along with it.
I doubt it, but I can be seen clearly on the video when they gave them out if that matters.

Whether or not that has any value, that's super exciting! :-)

It's not about the SIM Card Size or any of that.

The AT&T Priv does not have Radios compatible to work in Verizon Wireless .

Just because some of you say you switch SIMS all the time from Verizon Wireless to AT&T back and forth just means that THAT SPECIFIC DEVICE has the Radios compatible to work on BOTH Verizon Wireless and AT&T.

For example the VZW Z30 STA100-3 is compatible with AT&T as well as T-Mobile. It has the Radios for all of them (CDMA, GSM, HSPA, HSPA+, LTE) while the STA100-5 the most common Z30 used in AT&T WILL NOT WORK on Verizon Wireless because it does not have CDMA Radios.

    Your options are:
Switch to AT&T, or T-Mobile (you'll have to unlock it).
Use it as a WiFi only device.
Possibly wait until VZW relases VoLTE (could be years), you still might not be fully covered (must be unlocked and probably won't work anyway).
    Sell it.

If I chose to unlock and go to T-Mobile, would Wi-Fi calling work?

Verizon will eventually offer the Priv.

However I'm on AT&T and I've always wanted the Z30. I've yet to get any feedback on its performance on the AT&T network.

If this were true someone would have taken their Passport to Verizon ages ago.

Didn't read every post but I think you answered your own question. You should wait it out with Verizon. Thus, the question becomes what to do with your Priv?

Because you used a VERIZON phone on att, not the other way around. Verizon phones are like the ultimate unlocked world phone. They carry both CDMA (Verizon radio) and GSM (nearly every other carriers in the world radio) radios so your att sim would work in a Verizon phone. However an att phone only contains a GSM radio, can't connect with a Verizon CDMA radio.

Do you see what everyone is saying now?

    Unclear.

Some have done it with success and some have had tried, but only to fail.

I think it really depends on if T-Mobile will "sign you up" for WiFi Calling.

It has to be in their system that your device is activated to use WiFi Calling. I had this with my Verizon Z30 but in the end they did activate it for me and it works.

I bought the Priv from Blackberry and my service is with T-Mobile. I simply had T-Mobile provide me with the nano sim popped it in my Priv and have been up and running since!
