Hello,

Is there any way to add a custom sound notification to the BBM sounds list? Will I need to paste it into a specific folder for it to work?

I'm not sure about the bbm part of the question. But I think you should (have to???) have sound files in the Ringtone folder in Internal Memory for best results.

I think I've read reports that ringtones assigned from the sdcard get lost on occasion.

For BBM you want to put the sound file in the internal Notifications folder. Also the PRIV seems like it prefers .wav files for notifications, but there are easy online converters that can change files if you have other formats.

I am dying to get the "Sparkle" tone for BBM from my Passport to my Priv. Anyone know how I can accomplish this?

Somewhere there are files containing older BB sounds. Not sure if it is on CB or that folks post links to those files.
