I'm trying to use the Content Transfer app to move my info from Z30 to new PRIV.
I downloaded the Content Transfer App from BBW on my Z30. After I have entered my Google Drive info, I click ALLOW then the app just closes. I have tried deleting app, restarting phone and re-installing app but same thing. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Z30 version 10.3.2.556 on VZW

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I figured some of you here may be able to help.

    Thanks!

If I recall, you can also backup to an sdcard??? If so, you could try that. Of course, that means swapping the card around but it could be a workaround.

You you rebooted the Z30 or restarted it?

A user can choose to transfer over wifi as well. Three options exist, Google Drive, SD card and Wifi..

Thanks for the replies. I ended up using the SD card and everything transferred just fine. Loving the PRIV so far!

Lucky you, as soon as my Nexus connects to my Q10 over WiFi, the content transfer app closes on my Q10. Same problem when allowing connection to drive. The problem is that I don't have an sd card slot on my Nexus 6p

Not sure but perhaps the BB content transfer app is intended to only work when the new device is a BlackBerry??.. Content Transfer - Canada

BlackBerry should care about the data of Customers that have been loyal to them for years though . Oh well

I have not used the sd-card method. I wonder if you can play around with the files. On the Q10, copy to sd card? Then copy the files to the Internal Drive on the new phone and see if you can point to them when using Content Transfer on it. I don't know if you can navigate to a location or it only looks to an sd card.

I'll try that when I get the chance, thanks F2. I already tried copying my data from my Q10 sd card to Google Drive, but I always get the same message on my Nexus, and then the app closes. It doesn't even look
