    Hello,

Transfer has copied over 2500 contacts for me. Sadly the default number on each is the home number.

For 99% of the people I deal with I want the default number to be the cell/mobile.

Is there some 'apply all' setting?

    Thanks

Ahh thats the Blackberry contact app which i hated with a passion.

Its been ages since i've used it, but last i remember there was no apply all setting built within that app.

Someone with more recent experience please correct me if i'm wrong

Doesnt it give the option of which number to use if theres more then one?

    Yes there is...

    Open the contact
Long the the number you want to make default
    Select "Set Default"

Indeed so. Over 2000 contacts of which around 400 I have multiple numbers for.

Curious. Are said contacts in Office 365, or Exchange?

If so, maybe correct it there (in Outlook or another client), and it would sync on the Priv, no?

I tend to stick with whatever the stock contact app is, as i dont like duplicate apps, but there are a lot of contact apps on the Play Store as well as apps that optimises your contacts.
I cant give you any recommendations myself, but hopefully someone can tell you if there is an app that can do what you want easily.
A quick search showed something called contact optimiser which may be a good place to start

I think the best solution here would be to sync your contacts with your gmail contact list from your BB10 device. Than sync your gmail contact list with your new priv. This should preserve defaults, pictures, notes, and pretty much any other attribute I can think of at the moment.

Thats what i did. Well i had to clear it up a bit because the BB10 contact app made a mess of things, but once done it switched over perfectly.
If its still an option i would second this suggestion

I was disappointed with the contact photos when it transferred over from the Passport SE. Lots of lost quality and integrity of the photos. They've crisp and HD on my Passport, but grainy and blurry on the Priv. I could redo them on the Priv but that's close to 800 primary photo edits.

I think it is dependent on how the account was added, no?
I believe GMail and Exchange accounts show Contact images. For Outlook.com accounts, if you add the images to Contacts via Outlook client (2013\2016, etc.), it should sync to any device.
