Maybe someone can helping understand what is going on... I have about 1600 unique contacts in Gmail (verified on pc).
In contacts, I set a custom view that includes ONLY my Gmail account. It shows 1573 contacts, close enough. But my "Gmail" contacts shows 2867! And if I browse them there are lots of duplicates, triplicate, etc all showing association to my Gmail account. See screenshot.

I also use Contacts Optimizer, and it shows 1611 contacts in Gmail.

Aside from the slight discrepancies, why do I have so many repeatedly contacts, that even the "duplicates" doesn't find?

Any clues?

Since BB10, BlackBerry contacts have always been screwed up for me. Even on my Priv

When I upgraded from passport to priv, recreated all contacts specifically because I knew that restore never really works exactly the way you want.
